Once booked they visited most months for some breakfast and a chat about the planning of their wedding, “We got to meet Dean and Rennae who are the owners and Georgia who was the event planner throughout the process and all 3 of them made our experience totally stress free for us.”
“Everything was organized with Vues event planner Georgia and she coordinated everything with our other suppliers to execute everything the way we wanted. All we needed to do was turn up, get married and celebrate! It was so refreshing to know that we didn’t have to worry about anything! It was all done for us.”

After 2 years of planning, numerous emails and phone calls the day was here Friday the 18^th of November a beautiful spring day which Donna and Josh spend with 110 of their closest family and friends.

The chapel and reception room was styled beautiful by Dayne Tyler who brought their vision to life. “Walking into the reception space and seeing your vision come to life. The execution and placement of everything in the reception was perfect.”

Donna and Josh spent the evening dancing away with their loved ones.

“Looking at our wedding day I can happily say our day was nothing but perfection.”

“Even though we have had our wedding, we will continue to return for beautiful breakfasts and catch up with Dean, Rennae and Georgia through the bond we have formed.”

Catherine and Josh, a beautiful, well travelled and down to earth couple tied the knot on Saturday 23rd April 2016 in front of 130 of their closest family and friends.

With a beautiful chapel ceremony Catherine and Josh wrote their own vows filling the room with love and watery eyes. 

While guests enjoyed pre dinner drinks and canapés in the cellar door, Catherine and Josh were off with their bridal party getting their professional photos, this was their most memorable aspect of their special day.

“Getting our professional photography done among the beautiful vines, with the lush grass and gentle breeze blowing, it was simply perfection”.

From the moment their planning started they felt “The meticulous planning and attention to detail by all the staff at Vue on Halcyon made our entire wedding planning process so stress free. We really did feel like every little detail was being taken care of.”

As the afternoon flowed into the evening guests enjoyed fine wine and delicious food “Every single one of our guests has commented on not only how fantastic the food and the wines were, but also on the professionalism and attention of the wait staff on the night. They all felt so looked after and never had an empty glass!”

The party continued on the dance floor as Catherine and Josh set the mood with their well practised bridal dance.

In the lead up to their wedding “The subsequent sessions with Georgia and Dean, were equally as good, both Dean and Georgia always listened to us and provided great insight into Vue on Halcyon and thus helped make our day perfect!”

Sunday 1^st of November 2015 a day Rachel and Patrick will forever cherish “the most memorable part of the day would have to be the ceremony. Having our ceremony take place in the chapel took the pressure off worrying about the weather. It did rain just before the ceremony but it didn’t matter at all as our family and friends all arrived without a worry. Dean and Ally coordinated mine & the bridesmaids arrival perfectly so the umbrellas were ready! Having all of our family and friends together in a beautiful venue to witness our ceremony was something we had always dreamt of and really was one of the highlights of our day”.

Following their beautiful ceremony Rachel and Patrick surprised their guest with a Mr Whippy van, the weather wasn’t going to stop their guest from enjoying a cheeky chocolate sundae. The reception followed and Rachel, Patrick and their guest danced, drank and ate the night away. “The wine and food was so amazing! We had so many positive compliments from our friends and family and it really added to the overall experience for those we love the most.”

From the moment Alana and Jared arrived on their first site visit “we were blown away by our first impression of Vue on Halcyon”, they were in awe of the reception venue and loved the wine barrel inspired ceiling.” Rennae and Dean gave us a very warm welcoming and we could tell how proud they were of their establishment, sharing with us the history of the land, design of the reception room, through to the construction of the chapel”.

After many hours spent visiting different wineries in the Valley they were not expecting to book after their first visit, “without hesitation, we signed up and secured Vue on Halcyon on the same day!”

Alana arrived in a stretch limo with her 3 stunning bridesmaids ready to tie the knot. Miss Alana O’Brien soon became Mrs Alana Greaney with a beautiful intimate chapel ceremony.

The party had started. It was time to celebrate the love and the beginning of a new adventure for Alana and Jared.

“It was all so amazing! From the breathtaking views of the vineyards in the sunset lit sky, to walking down the aisle in the chapel, and dancing the night away all throughout the reception. We had so much fun, we scooped everyone up on a bus back home to continue the celebrations!”

The morning of Saturday 30^th May 2015 wasn’t a very bright one, the sky was a little over cast and the wind was chilly but nothing was going to stop the Wedding of two beautiful people, Laura Roberts and Adam Brooks.

Laura and Adam had a beautiful chapel ceremony with 130 of their closest family and friends to witness the next step in their life’s together.

While guests enjoyed Pre dinner drinks and Canapés during the last hour of light Mr and Mrs Brooks were off capturing beautiful photos with Kerryn Lee photography, they truly got every season in one day, rain, bright sunset ‘and the beautiful rainbow!’
