How do we secure our wedding at Vue on Halcyon?

Please confirm your wedding date in an email, we will send you a confirmation document which you will then be required to pay a $1,000 non-refundable deposit to secure your date.

What is the planning process for our wedding?

Once you have confirmed your wedding with us we will send you our supplier list which we encourage you to consider however you are welcome to source your own suppliers.

  • 6-8 weeks out from your day we run a planning session where we finalize all your wedding details e.g seating chart, guest numbers, menu, timings etc
  • 4 weeks out from your day final guest numbers are due
  • 2 weeks out your final payment is due
  • Week of your wedding you are welcome to run an onsite ceremony rehearsal where you will also deliver your name place cards, seating chart, bonbonnieres and anything else you are wanting to have set up.

What is the maximum number of people per table?

Our round tables seat up to 10 people, our long tables vary in sizes so we will happily personalise a floor plan for you.

Can we BYO drinks?

As we are a fully licensed venue we do not allow outside beverages to be brought onto the grounds. If you are wanting to serve a particular beverage on your evening we will do our best to accommodate so please speak with our team at your planning session about your requirements.

Are Dogs allowed on site for photos?

We understand fur babies are a huge part of your life so you are most welcome to bring your dog up for some photos however they are to have a minder that is in charge of your pet with them the whole time. We advise to have pets stay no longer than 30 minutes.

Can we arrange for photos onsite prior to our wedding?

Photos can certainly be onsite prior to your ceremony however they do incur a cost of $350 per 30 mins.

Do you have accommodation onsite?

No, however we have some perfect local referrals we can provide, these are also listed on our preferred supplier list. Yarra Valley Lodge, Sage Hotel and Yering Gorge cottages.

Do you have a designated bridal room?

Yes, we sure do! We have a lovely bridal suite onsite for you to access over your reception. Complete with a couch, bathroom and space to chill.

When can our suppliers have access to set up?

All suppliers are welcome onsite from 9am-2pm the day of your wedding, they will have full access of the venue and chapel for set up. Bands, Dj’s, photo booth’s will all have access from 3:30pm on the day.

Can I add styling components to my special day?

You are welcome to source your own components such as coloured napkins, furnishings, feature walls/backdrops, signage etc. We require you to send through your thoughts for approval before booking these suppliers. We require all supplier details involved in the set up.
